Bachelor’s degree in tax/accounting/finance or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role in UAE (strong Knowledge in Restaurants and Catering Businesses)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements
High proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to advanced)
Proficiency in using accounting tools, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic is a good advantage
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing purchasing and inventory, reconciling sales transactions.
Responsibilities:
Perform accounting activities including journal entry processing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and intercompany transactions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain statutory filing and tax compliance. Perform the quarterly VAT submission on UAE FTA portal, VAT return claim & reconciliation
Complete Bank statement and payment gateways reconciliation on a weekly/monthly basis
Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and support in planning annual budgets
Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed
Prepare and analyse detailed financial reports P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements for restaurants and Head office
Salary will be offered according to the experience
