Role Purpose:

Maintains highest levels of service & standards against the SQCDME KPI’s, ensuring

principles are applied to control processes and management systems.

Excellence through Best Practices and Manufacturing Standards

Improve both functional competencies & CODE behaviors to create high-performing

teams.

Key Accountabilities:

· Provide automation & process control configuration, and on-call support for operations

at 24/7 production plant.

· Perform fault finding, upgrades and process optimization on all PLC systems, SCADA

& HMIs, and redundant I/O servers, SQL servers and Historian Servers.

· Optimize automation systems and operator aids in order to reduce workload and

increase efficiency. Attend to Automation related breakdown maintenance

activities/tasks.

· Ensure that all breakdowns and preventative maintenance and/or scheduled

maintenance activities are carried out to high standards of workmanship.

· Support process control-related activities of site capital projects to ensure all Projects

and interventions in the Automation system and infrastructure are executed as per DEW

Automation standards.

· Monitor and ensure that all required documentation is completed as per standard.

· Adhere to quality, safety, health, housekeeping, and environmental standards/criteria,

policies, and procedures.

· Review/maintain/update related documentation, files, procedures, databases,

drawings, and schematics to ensure the integrity of the unit instrument and process

control technologies.

· Support and maintain Site Data Historian

 

Job Requirements:

· Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics/Mechatronics (SCE Membership)

· 5 years of work experience in instrumentation within a FMCG, preferably Dairy

industry

· Siemens PLC Programming experience, and understanding of SCL language, WinCC

HMI designing and instrumentation, Servers (WinCC), VFDs (Siemens, Danfoss) and

Servo Drives (Sinamics, SEW), Aspentech Data Historian

Knowledge of Instrumentation & Process Control, including circuits, control systems of

dairy operations, reliability and performance characteristics of process measurement,

instrumentation, analyzers, control valves, and VFDs.
