CL&D has a great opportunity for an Customer Service Rep in Rock Hill, SC.
The Customer Service Rep is responsible for processing customer sales orders, shipping requests, production estimates, and orders confirmations in the business enterprise software.
Process sales orders promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
Enter shipping requests, production estimates, and customer confirmations in our business enterprise software.
Maintain precise pricing information in the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to process work and address inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations regarding product supply, quality, cost, and service.
Serve as a secondary contact for mid-size to larger customer accounts, supporting the Account Manager in maintaining strong relationships.
Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic filing systems for orders and records.
Develop a basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes for our products.
Adhere to workflow procedures, consistency, and accuracy in applying business systems, scheduling, and shipping documentation.
Support the Account Services Team as needed with purchase order entries and project facilitation.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve quality, performance, and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications and Abilities
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Outlook software programs.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and handle various situations with limited standardization.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
