CiviPlus is our comprehensive platform which gives nonprofits all the tools they need to fundraise, manage memberships, run events, communicate and engage with their audiences and so much more. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Sales Executive with experience in technical software sales and/or the nonprofit sector to join our growing Sales and Marketing team.

You will fill the first position in our new North America CiviPlus Team, and will be supported by a close-knit team consisting of a UK Sales Manager and UK Marketing Manager all reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. The role will be collaborative, working with the team to develop the lead generation strategy as we introduce CiviPlus to a new market.

You will work across the entire sales cycle, responding to enquiries, performing product demonstrations and supporting the team to close opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for new leads, using strong interpersonal skills to develop new enquiries into warm relationships. You will also be responsible for generating new leads through research, outbound emailing and cold calling. You will have targets to achieve and will need to report on progress and forecast regularly throughout the year.

Key responsibilities:

Generate and qualify outbound leads

Respond to and qualify inbound leads

Learn the sales process end to end, give presentations, conduct demos and close new accounts independently

Be responsible for accurately maintaining your lead and sales data on the company’s internal database

Produce well formatted proposals and quotes to potential clients

Achieve targets and provide accurate reports and forecasting.

Lead our presence at externally hosted relevant events

In collaboration with the marketing manager, monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Experience sought:

You will have 2+ years of experience in a client facing sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

Experience with CRM/ERP or business software sales or using CRMs in the nonprofit sector

You will have proven ability to drive the sales process from prospecting to close

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great presentation skills including the ability to perform technical demonstrations both virtually and in person

Excellent negotiation skills

Salary Range: $40k – $50k + OTE bonus of $10k (uncapped)
