We are looking for a highly skilled Shipping Operation Manager to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Shipping Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our shipping operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for optimizing processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency in our shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of international shipping regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of shipping operations, including transportation, inventory control, and delivery scheduling
2. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
4. Coordinate with internal teams, including procurement and sales, to ensure timely delivery of goods
5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
6. Collaborate with external partners, such as shipping carriers and customs brokers, to negotiate contracts and resolve any issues
7. Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including tracking and documentation
8. Provide leadership and guidance to the shipping team, including training and development opportunities
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in international shipping

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in shipping operations and 3 years operation manager position
2. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs requirements
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
9. Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as ERP and shipping management software
10. Strong leadership and team management skills
